PAVI Graduate engineers for sound company that did the Ozzy Osbourne “Monsters of Rock” Tour
Message from PAVI Grad Mike Rutherford:
“I thought I would share some photos that my production manger sent me from the gig. For all you audio nerds that get this you will love it! The company and staff are getting a lot of press on this gig and I'm proud to be an engineer with this company--that is why I thought It would be appropriate to share.”
The rig was:
18 X-array a side for main P.A. (Flown)
12 X-Subs a side (flown)
12 XLC a side - Outfill (flown)
12 X- Subs a side (ground stacked)
4 X-Line XF a side (front Fill)
4 X-Line XN a side (front fill)
4 X-Line XB a side (front fill)
6 X-Line XI a side (front fill)
-Total amp output capability of the 20 amp racks is 560,000 watts
-Total speaker output is 329,200 watts and that’s normal program range, non peaking…you can almost add a third to that with peaking
112 thousand of that is just sub…fun
I believe in the end we used 36 amp racks. Anyway enjoy the pictures of Sound Arts "ghetto blaster"
Best,
Mitchell Rutherford
